Presente Simple negativo y preguntas
Aprende a usar do, does, don't y doesn't para formar oraciones negativas y preguntas correctamente.
🌟 ¿Cómo se forma el presente simple negativo?
Para formar oraciones negativas en presente simple usamos do not o does not antes del verbo principal.
Do not / Don'tSe usa con I, you, we y they.
Does not / Doesn'tSe usa con he, she e it.
Verbo básicoDespués de don't o doesn't, el verbo no lleva -s.
❌ Oraciones negativas con Don't
I / You / We / They + don't + verbo + complemento
- I don't work on Sundays. - No trabajo los domingos.
- You don't live here. - Tú no vives aquí.
- We don't study at night. - No estudiamos de noche.
- They don't speak French. - Ellos no hablan francés.
❌ Oraciones negativas con Doesn't
He / She / It + doesn't + verbo básico + complemento
- He doesn't work here. - Él no trabaja aquí.
- She doesn't drink coffee. - Ella no bebe café.
- It doesn't rain much. - No llueve mucho.
- Maria doesn't drive. - María no conduce.
Después de doesn't, el verbo vuelve a su forma básica:
She doesn't work, no She doesn't works.

Do + I / you / we / they + verbo + complemento?
- Do you speak English? - ¿Hablas inglés?
- Do they live nearby? - ¿Ellos viven cerca?
- Do we need more time? - ¿Necesitamos más tiempo?
- Do I know you? - ¿Te conozco?
❓ Cómo hacer preguntas con Does
Does + he / she / it + verbo básico + complemento?
- Does he work here? - ¿Él trabaja aquí?
- Does she study English? - ¿Ella estudia inglés?
- Does it open at nine? - ¿Abre a las nueve?
- Does Carlos live in Madrid? - ¿Carlos vive en Madrid?
Después de does, el verbo tampoco lleva -s:
Does she work?, no Does she works?.
