Pasado simple negativo y preguntas en inglés

📌 La regla más importante

Cuando usamos did o didn't, el verbo principal vuelve a su forma base. Esto pasa en preguntas y negaciones.

Negativo: Sujeto + didn't + verbo base + complemento

Pregunta: Did + sujeto + verbo base + complemento?

⭐ No digas “I didn't went”. Lo correcto es “I didn't go”. Did ya marca el pasado.

❌ Pasado simple negativo

Para decir que algo no pasó en el pasado, usamos didn't más el verbo en forma base.

I didn't work yesterday. No trabajé ayer.
ai dí-dent work iés-ter-dei

She didn't study last night. Ella no estudió anoche.
shí dí-dent stá-di last náit

We didn't go to the party. No fuimos a la fiesta.
uí dí-dent gou tu de pár-ti

They didn't buy anything. Ellos no compraron nada.

❓ Preguntas en pasado simple

Para preguntar en pasado simple, colocamos Did al principio. El verbo principal queda normal, sin pasado.

🧠 Preguntas con Wh en pasado

También puedes usar palabras como what, where, when, why, who y how antes de did.

Wh question + did + sujeto + verbo base?

❌ Did you went? ✅ Did you go?
Después de did usamos verbo base.

❌ She didn't studied. ✅ She didn't study.
Después de didn't usamos verbo base.

❌ Did she bought food? ✅ Did she buy food?
Buy queda normal por did.

❌ I no worked yesterday. ✅ I didn't work yesterday.
Para negar en pasado usamos didn't.
