Pasado Simple en inglés

Aprende el Simple Past: afirmativo, negativo y preguntas para hablar de acciones terminadas en el pasado.

En afirmativo usamos el verbo en pasado. En negativo y preguntas usamos did y el verbo vuelve a su forma base.

🎯 ¿Qué es el Pasado Simple?

El Pasado Simple se usa para hablar de acciones que empezaron y terminaron en el pasado. Es muy común con palabras como yesterday, last night, last week y ago.

📅 Acción terminada

I visited my family yesterday.
Visité a mi familia ayer.

La acción ya terminó.

She worked last night.
Ella trabajó anoche.

last night = anoche

✅ Pasado Simple afirmativo

En afirmativo, usamos el verbo en pasado. Los verbos regulares normalmente terminan en -ed, pero los verbos irregulares cambian de forma.

Agregan -ed o -d al verbo.

work → worked

No siguen una regla fija. Hay que aprenderlos con práctica.

go → went
eat → ate
buy → bought

🚫 Pasado Simple negativo

Para negar en Pasado Simple usamos did not o la contracción didn’t. Después de didn’t, el verbo va en forma base.

Para hacer preguntas en Pasado Simple usamos Did al inicio. El verbo principal vuelve a su forma base.
